Strawberries Romanoff is a classic and simple dessert that features fresh strawberries paired with a rich, creamy sauce. The dish is typically served as a simple yet indulgent treat, perfect for special occasions or as a luxurious ending to a meal.

Strawberries Romanoff is said to have been created in the mid-20th century, with some sources attributing it to a French chef who developed the recipe for a dish involving strawberries, cream, and alcohol.

However, the modern version most commonly features the use of brandy or orange liqueur, with the name "Romanoff" evoking an association with Russian royalty.

It's a luxurious and delicious dessert that's often associated with romantic dinners or festive occasions.

*Liqueur can be substituted with vanilla extract*
